More than 30 years ago, Scott began his career in the pharmaceutical industry “carrying the bag” as a Sales Representative for A. H. Robins in Los Angeles.
Through his time in the field, Scott learned the importance of communication, trust, and high-touch customer service. As he made the transition inside, Scott focused on developing sales teams, with concentration in not only solid selling skills but also ensuring the understanding and value of strong culture within the greater organization and each individual sales team.
Scott believes that excellent salespeople know how to tell a very compelling story. He passionately believes that sales growth and success is based on increasing competency and confidence. Increasing both is the secret to build sustainable growth and retention. Most importantly, every course must be measurable, action-oriented, realistic, and specific.
He has held Senior Management positions and led many teams including sales & marketing; national accounts; IDN and market access; and sales training. Scott has launched more than twenty-five pharmaceutical products.
Today, he provides expertise consulting to numerous organizations and enjoys sharing his knowledge with others.
Scott resides in Roaring Gap, NC and St. Petersburg, FL. His hobbies include sport car racing: traveling in his motorcoach; and antique collecting
